As now been become the vital part of Restaurant and Hospitality industry. Now the coffee has proved an asset in convincing a complaint Guest or an life saving beverage for an exhausted employee. Do we know how much coffee we consume in a year (as per the statistics of  coffee board of India of 2011). we have consumed about 115000 tonnes of coffee per Year. Being the 7th largest coffee producer of the World. India produces several verities of coffee Ex: Arabica and Robusta. 

    In the mean while do we know How this coffee came to our table and coffee jars, it has travel a long journey By a Great Sufi saint, The story dates backs in the late 17 century when Baba Budan a sufi saint secretly taken 7 coffee beans from Mocha Yemen port to India first in the state of  Karnataka in Chickmagalur District the interesting thing in this story that coffee is only found in the Arab regions at that time and they strictly control the export of coffee in that aspect they firstly roast the coffee beans and then supply to another country. So, they won't be able to grow into their own country and you can say that the coffee India is a blessing of a sufi saint and why only seven beans because 7 is religiously lucky number in Islam and gradually the coffee Business in India reaches to its peak in a span of time  due to this some regions are also named Baba Budan Giri and Baba Budan Forest and the coffee production flourished in the regions of Karnataka and Tamilnadu more.


As we already  talked about the history and consumption of coffee in India as part from that coffee has also some beneficial effects which are given Below:-

*It helps in reducing Cardiovascular diseases including (Heart attack, Heart faliure and and Stroke)

*It helps in the treatment of type 2 Diabetes.

*It helps in treatment of  Parkinsons Disease.

*It helps in uterine and Liver Cancer.

*It is an instant energy booster.

*It is also an Immunity Booster.


If a thing has certain benefits it also has its defects also:

* You can get addicted to coffee if consume more.

*  Excessive consumption can cause Bladder and Pancreatic Cancer.
