The Origin Of Indian Snack Samosa (Sambusaks)
If their is an occasion or welcoming a guest into our family and from Indian streets to the traditional Indian homes the samosas are found and served every where, Not only that the samosas are found in different variations in each state of India from the filling of Boiled mashed potatoes, peas, chilly, and coriander prepared in North India( UP, Delhi, MP, Punjab) to the popular singhara of (Bihar, West Bengal, Orissa) and time to time its been divided into many variations of its own from sweet filled with cashew mawa and to salty and savoury. The samosas of north India are best served with green mint chutney, tamarind chutney and Raita and the sweet one is served with the sugar syrup.
While having samosa do you imagine how this samosa come to our plate and how a long journey it has made to become the snack King of India, The story of samosa takes us back to the ancient era. The inscription of samosa or sambusaks, When Moroccan explorer Ibn Batutta came to India and enjoyed the same meal at the court of Delhi sultan Muhammad Bin Tughluq and at that time batutta given a vivid description of samosa as a small pie stuffed with minced meat almonds, pistachio, and walnuts and used to be served before the third. With time and the majority of vegetarianism in India the minced meat is replaced by boiled mashed potatoes and it is said that the potato stuffed samosa got popularized from the snack streets of Delhi and it strong ancient evidence is found in Abu'l Fazl's Ain-A-Akbari court poet and the one of the nine Jewel of Akbar's court. It is mentioned in the ancient texts that the snack named samosa is used to come from central Asia and brought by the immigrants of the same. Not only in India but this snack is quite a popular in other Asian countries list of countries and what they call it in their country is given below:

*Sambosa - Madagascar
* Samoosa - South Africa
* Samsa - Ethiopia
* Sambuus - Kenya
